What you'll do

  • Train and fine-tune a multi-task transformer using JAX/Flax on TPUs.
  • Design offline and end-to-end evaluations and build supporting dataset and evaluation pipelines.
  • Deliver production-quality code and communicate results through design documents, team presentations, and stakeholder collaboration.

What they ask for

  • Currently enrolled in an MS or PhD program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, and returning after the internship.
  • Hands-on experience training and evaluating deep-learning models in JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, including data pipelines, loss selection, and debugging.
  • Strong C++/Python programming skills and grounding in ML fundamentals, evaluation metrics, and experiment design.

Nice to have

  • Published papers at top-tier AI/ML, data mining, or computer vision conferences.
  • Experience with transformers, JAX/Flax, distributed training, large-scale data processing, autonomous driving, robotics, or listed evaluation methods.

Pay
