What you'll do

  • Build and benchmark LoRA/QLoRA fine-tuning modules in JAX/Flax for multi-task Vision Transformers.
  • Develop distillation pipelines and test quantization and model optimizations for onboard hardware.
  • Run ablations and evaluate perception metrics on large-scale autonomous-driving datasets.

What they ask for

  • Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong software engineering and deep-learning development skills in Python and a modern framework (JAX, Flax, PyTorch, or TensorFlow).
  • Theoretical understanding and hands-on experience with foundation models, Transformer architectures, and multi-task learning.
  • Experience with model compression, parameter-efficient fine-tuning, quantization, or knowledge distillation.

Nice to have

  • Publications at top-tier computer vision or machine-learning conferences.
  • Experience with quantization or hardware-aware optimization, distributed model training, or autonomous-driving perception tasks.
