Senior Software Engineer, Vehicle Interaction

What you'll do

• Design, evaluate, and deploy learned policies for complex navigation and yielding scenarios.
• Collaborate across prediction and planning teams to solve agent-interaction problems.
• Integrate models into closed-loop simulation, benchmark safety, and support production releases.

What they ask for

• BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience developing high-performance, efficient C++ code.
• Hands-on ML model-building experience, including learned driving policies (RL/imitation learning), PyTorch or JAX, closed-loop simulation evaluation, and a track record of shipping models to production.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional engineering teams.

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Experience in motion planning or autonomous systems, large-scale ML systems, or technical leadership.

$213,000 — $263,000 USD base salary
