Leads strategy and engineering efforts to improve simulator performance, resource utilization, and scalability across Waymo’s simulation software stack.
What you'll do
- Develop simulator architecture and frameworks for higher performance and compute utilization.
- Optimize resource use and throughput across CPU, RAM, GPU, and TPU for individual and large-scale simulations.
- Partner with evaluation and infrastructure teams to identify bottlenecks and establish performance evaluation and debugging processes.
