Application Software Engineer - Embedded Software C++

What you'll do

• Bring up software on customer platforms, port and configure embedded operating systems, and integrate drivers, middleware, and boot-time settings.
• Develop diagnostics and automation for hardware setup, flashing, health checks, and testing; resolve platform integration issues with OEM and Tier 1 teams.
• Integrate hardware into CI/CD, HIL, and test infrastructure in collaboration with Verification and Release teams.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of embedded or automotive software development experience; strong proficiency in C/C++, Bash, and Python.
• Deep understanding of Linux-based embedded systems, including Yocto, systemd, bootloaders, and device trees.
• Familiarity with QNX and Adaptive AUTOSAR, including configuring and debugging on target hardware.
• Experience with automotive-grade SoC bring-up and embedded-platform CI/CD and test automation.

Nice to have

• Exposure to HIL, Vector toolchains, or custom CI rigs; familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Git, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Safety-critical domain experience, including ISO 26262, and knowledge of secure boot, OTA updates, and system-level cybersecurity.

Pay

$209,700 – $238,250 USD base salary
