About the job
Build and lead Wayve’s US application software team, bringing up and validating its autonomous-driving software on customer automotive hardware.
What you'll do
- Hire, mentor, and lead engineers while providing hands-on technical leadership.
- Lead software bring-up and validation on customer platforms, including OS configuration, drivers, middleware, and hardware-specific integration.
- Establish automated integration and testing workflows, including CI/CD and hardware-in-the-loop infrastructure.
What they ask for
- 8+ years of embedded or automotive software development experience; strong proficiency in C/C++, Bash, and Python.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and grow engineering teams.
- Deep knowledge of embedded Linux, including Yocto, systemd, bootloaders, and device trees; familiarity with QNX and Adaptive AUTOSAR.
- Experience bringing up automotive-grade SoCs and integrating embedded platforms into CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
Nice to have
- Exposure to automotive verification environments, Vector toolchains, or custom CI rigs; Docker, Jenkins, Git, or JFrog Artifactory.
- Experience in safety-critical development, cybersecurity, secure boot, or over-the-air updates.

USD 276,100 – USD 293,750 base salary
