About the job
Leads the OS engineering team responsible for Wayve’s onboard operating-system foundations, setting team and technical direction while delivering reliable software across vehicle and compute platforms.
What you'll do
- Coach, hire, develop and manage the team, including its engagement, performance and career growth.
- Own the team roadmap, resourcing and delivery, guiding technical decisions and managing risks and dependencies.
- Guide OS foundations work, including platform bring-up, testing, build and deployment systems, quality gates and cross-team collaboration.

- Experience owning a team roadmap and delivering through others, including planning, prioritisation and resourcing.
- Hands-on experience architecting and delivering embedded software shipped in a physical product to customers.
- Solid understanding of Linux kernel fundamentals, device trees, board support packages, embedded build and packaging, software updates and over-the-air deployment.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-reliability fault-tolerant software and hardware architectures.
- NVIDIA DriveOS, QNX or other microkernel/real-time operating systems, NVIDIA Jetson or Drive, or Qualcomm, AMD or Renesas platforms.

USD $276,100 to $300,400 base salary
