About the job

Develop and ship AI driver models that learn and improve driving behaviours from data, with evaluation and validation on-road and offline.

What you'll do

  • Develop model architectures and training algorithms for L2/L3/L4 driving behaviours; own parts of the training lifecycle, including evaluation and iteration planning.
  • Curate real-world and synthetic data, run on-road and offline experiments, and use results to improve models through repeated training cycles.
  • Build production-ready ML systems spanning training, evaluation, deployment, and performance monitoring.

What they ask for

  • Proven end-to-end ownership of deep learning model training, including data, training, evaluation, and iteration.
  • Experience taking ML models into production under real-world quality and safety constraints.
  • Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks.
  • Background in end-to-end autonomous driving/embodied AI or large-scale product ML systems such as recommendations or ranking.

Nice to have

  • Reinforcement learning or behavioural cloning experience, especially with measurable real-world performance improvements.
  • Familiarity with model compression and deploying ML to embedded systems.

Pay

$311,850 – $350,625 (USD; base salary or total pay not specified)

Tools

Python, reinforcement learning, behavioural cloning, distillation, camera, radar, lidar, PyTorch

AI focus

Train and deploy driving AI models for L2/L3/L4, using real-world and synthetic data, on-road validation, and methods including reinforcement learning, behavioural cloning, and distillation.
