About the job
Build and maintain the embedded operating-system platform used by Wayve’s development vehicles for autonomous driving and data collection.
What you'll do
- Develop embedded Linux and QNX platform software, kernels, device drivers, and high-throughput IPC middleware.
- Diagnose system performance and reliability issues, and improve fault tolerance, diagnostics, testing, documentation, and tooling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on platform solutions and mentor teammates.
What they ask for
- Strong C and C++ experience building high-performance embedded Linux system software.
- Hands-on knowledge of embedded Linux kernels, device trees, Yocto, boot flows, or user-space systems software.
- Ability to debug complex performance and reliability problems across system layers.
