About the job
Build and maintain production simulation software for evaluating autonomous-driving systems, integrating vehicle and ML components and improving simulation reliability, debugging, and scale.
What you'll do
- Develop simulation components in C++ and Python and integrate driving-stack, robot-system, and vehicle-platform capabilities.
- Investigate on-road versus simulated behavior and improve testing, reproducibility, observability, and performance.
- Support simulation configurations, initially focusing on high-scale open-loop evaluation, and collaborate across engineering teams.
What they ask for
- Professional experience developing, delivering, and maintaining production software in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Strong C++ and Python skills, with depth in at least one and ability to work effectively in the other.
- Experience integrating and debugging components in complex software systems.
- Experience with simulation or another transferable complex-systems domain, and integrating and working with ML components.
Nice to have
- Experience with middleware or integrating components across complex systems.
- Experience with sensor data, performance profiling, distributed systems debugging, large-scale processing, cloud or GPU workloads, or world models.
