About the job

Build and evaluate machine-learning methods that help autonomous-driving models transfer reliably across vehicle platforms, and take improvements into production.

What you'll do

  • Design and train models robust to differences in vehicle kinematics and camera parameters; build cross-platform benchmarks and metrics.
  • Investigate on-road issues with controls, calibration, and OEM teams, and identify model improvements.
  • Move research into production, support customer programmes, and mentor teammates.

What they ask for

  • Several years of experience building and shipping ML systems using PyTorch and Python, including training at scale, debugging experiments, and rigorous evaluation.
  • Strong robotics or automotive background, such as state estimation, sensor fusion, calibration, vehicle dynamics, or controls.
  • Systems perspective and experience with real-world, multi-sensor driving or robot data.

Nice to have

  • Experience with end-to-end or learned driving and planning policies, imitation learning, or reinforcement learning; platform bring-up or deployment across multiple vehicles.
  • C++ skills and experience with on-vehicle or embedded deployment.

Pay

$370,040 – $419,760 USD base salary
