Staff R&D AI Engineer

What you'll do

• Design VLA models, reinforcement learning systems, computer vision pipelines, and fine-tuned language models.
• Lead multimodal AI research and training, then integrate and optimize models for real-time applications.
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and present or publish research findings.

What they ask for

• 7+ years of AI/ML engineering experience, including 4+ years focused on deep learning and neural network development.
• Strong understanding of reinforcement learning algorithms and experience in computer vision and natural language processing model development.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, plus Python programming and experience training and deploying large-scale models.
• Experience with transformer architectures, large language model fine-tuning, computer vision tasks, distributed training and model optimization, and MLOps practices.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, AI/ML, or a related field focused on multimodal learning or robotics.
• Experience with VLA models, RLHF, imitation learning, sim-to-real transfer, edge AI, embodied AI, or distributed training frameworks.
