About the job
Provides legal counsel to Wells Fargo’s Merchant Services business on payment-card acquiring, product initiatives, regulatory requirements, risk management, and payment network matters.
What you'll do
- Advise business clients on laws, regulations, policies, and risk mitigation relevant to Merchant Services.
- Provide legal support for payment-card acquiring, payment network requirements, and product development and implementation.
- Analyze complex legal issues and advise on acquiring, money transmitter, BSA/AML, OFAC, KYC, and other financial-crime requirements.
What they ask for
- 4+ years of Law experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Active State Bar membership or the equivalent in a country outside the United States.
Nice to have
- Practicing attorney experience supporting merchant services, merchant acquiring, payments, or financial product development and implementation.
- Experience with card network rules, commercial agreement drafting and negotiation, financial-crime requirements, or advising on regulatory changes.
Pay
$139,000.00 - $260,000.00 USD (base salary)
