About the job

Develops and deploys real-time physiological sensor algorithms, especially for IMU data, from prototyping through embedded implementation and production validation.

What you'll do

  • Design sensor-fusion and state-estimation algorithms for motion and orientation insights.
  • Analyze wearable data and validate algorithm accuracy, robustness, and stability in real-world and on-device testing.
  • Implement and integrate algorithms in C/C++ for resource-constrained wearable hardware.

What they ask for

  • 5+ years developing and deploying signal-processing, sensor-fusion, or state-estimation algorithms for real-world sensors, including substantial hands-on IMU work.
  • MS or PhD in a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong signal-processing foundation and demonstrated experience with accelerometer/gyroscope processing, IMU calibration, error modeling, bias estimation, and drift management.
  • Experience with Kalman filtering and model-based sensor fusion; proficiency in Python and C/C++ and experience deploying algorithms to resource-constrained hardware.

Nice to have

  • Experience with body-worn sensors, human-motion modeling, motion segmentation, or periodicity analysis.
