Build and scale backend foundations and member-facing features for the WHOOP App, supporting fitness, sleep, strain, recovery, and integrations.
What you'll do
- Design and implement foundational backend capabilities to improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Lead technical planning and delivery of complex initiatives, including scope, sequencing, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Set backend engineering standards and mentor engineers through architecture discussions, code reviews, documentation, and coaching.
