About the job

What you'll do

  • Build detection, inference, state, and delivery systems for critical product experiences.
  • Instrument complex problems and establish evidence of correctness, including when ground truth is unavailable.
  • Partner with product and platform teams to decide where systems should live and address persistent quality problems.

What they ask for

  • Have shipped a complex system with interacting failure modes.
  • Have owned a system whose correctness was difficult to observe.
  • Have defined a quality metric whose meaning was contested.
  • Be a recent, hands-on implementer with systems thinking, product intuition, and user empathy.

Nice to have

  • Experience with signal processing, fraud, ranking, anomaly detection, or ML evaluation.

Pay
