About the job
Build and operate Sauna’s agent runtime, managing stateful sessions, tool calls, retries, recovery, and deployments of long-running work.
What you'll do
- Build runtime capabilities to start agent work, maintain session state, and resume interrupted runs.
- Choose and implement actor or job execution patterns; manage overlapping sessions and in-flight work during releases.
- Make failures traceable and handle tool-call timeouts and retries, including uncertain outcomes, through production.
