Field CTO

What you'll do

• Lead Weave’s conference, media, and field presence through talks, panels, podcasts, and other appearances.
• Advise CTOs and VPs of Engineering during evaluations and after purchase, and support strategic sales conversations.
• Bring customer feedback to product and build relationships with engineering leaders.

What they ask for

• 15+ years in software engineering, including senior technical leadership; examples include CTO, VP of Engineering, Deputy/Field CTO, or leading a platform or developer productivity organization.
• Deep expertise in developer productivity, including DORA, SPACE, and DevEx.
• Exceptional writing ability and executive credibility with CTOs.
• Based in SF, in office when not traveling, with regular travel to conferences, conventions, and customers.

Nice to have

• Prior Field CTO, Chief Evangelist, or DevRel leadership at a developer tools or infrastructure company.
• Keynote or major conference speaking experience.

Pay

$200K – $400K (base salary); 0.1% – 0.4% (equity)
