About the job

Designs and advances SLAM systems for robust spatial understanding from real-world sensor data, translating research into production-ready capabilities for world modeling.

What you'll do

  • Develop localization, mapping, state-estimation, and sensor-fusion pipelines, including optimization and loop closure.
  • Research and prototype classical, learning-based, and hybrid SLAM methods; analyze failures and improve robustness.
  • Build evaluation frameworks and optimize SLAM performance for large-scale production systems; collaborate with downstream teams.

What they ask for

  • 6+ years of experience in SLAM, state estimation, robotics perception, or related areas.
  • Strong foundation in probabilistic estimation, optimization, and geometric vision.
  • Deep experience with one or more SLAM paradigms and proficiency in Python and/or C++.
  • Experience with numerical optimization libraries and/or robotics frameworks; understanding of sensor calibration, synchronization, and noise modeling.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with learning-based perception or representation learning to augment classical SLAM pipelines.
