Iron Worker, Construction - Memphis

What you'll do

• Erect structural steel and install stairs, platforms, pipe racks, and equipment-support steel.
• Rig, hoist, bolt, torque, weld, and plumb steel members according to drawings and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with construction crews and support safety, inspections, punch lists, and turnover.

What they ask for

• 3+ years of ironworking experience on commercial, industrial, or heavy-civil structural steel, or equivalent military structural or rigging experience.
• Ability to travel extensively to construction sites and remain onsite during peak construction phases.
• Ability to work at elevation and in industrial construction environments, perform physical work, and wear PPE for extended periods.
• Willingness to work extended hours, nights, and weekends during critical construction windows.

Nice to have

• Ability to read structural and erection drawings and work to AISC connection details.
• OSHA 10 or equivalent training; ironworker apprenticeship, AWS D1.1 certification, or rigger/signal-person qualifications are also listed as preferred.
