Owns the physical optical layer for AI training and inference computers, from fiber and link design through manufacturing, testing, and deployment.
What you'll do
- Design optical and fiber interconnects, including cabling, link budgets, connector strategy, and rack-scale connectivity.
- Develop factory tests; qualify optics and connectivity; troubleshoot and improve reliability of the optical layer.
- Deploy and verify interconnects in manufacturing and datacenter environments, including commissioning and debug.
