Build and operate hardware test assets to validate drone components and subsystems, automate testing, analyze results, and inform engineering decisions.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define component and tester requirements, and validate component designs and assemblies.
- Own test assets from planning through implementation, validation, troubleshooting, data collection, and analysis.
- Improve testing, data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
What they ask for
- Ability to interpret datasheets and write basic drivers for new components.
- Understanding of fundamental electrical and/or mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience using common electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
Nice to have
- Programming experience in Python and foundational knowledge of embedded C.
- Experience developing software that interfaces directly with hardware and instrumentation.
