Owns material planning and data integrity for a major system supporting Zipline’s drone delivery network, ensuring supply continuity and production readiness during scale-up and engineering changes.
What you'll do
- Plan end-to-end material availability, supplier commitments, inventory, and replenishment to meet production schedules and service levels.
- Govern BOM and planning master data; integrate engineering changes and manage shortage, obsolescence, and supply-risk escalations.
- Set planning KPIs, analyze performance, and coordinate readiness across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and suppliers.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of relevant experience in material planning, master-data governance, or supply planning for complex electromechanical or avionics products.
- Direct experience with MRP/ERP and planning systems, and ownership of BOM and planning parameter accuracy in a changing engineering environment.
- Demonstrated results reducing shortages and improving forecast accuracy and inventory health during design changes and production ramp.
- Ability to read and act on BOMs and engineering change notices; understand lead-time risk, safety stock, and expedited logistics; work on-site in South San Francisco.

- Advanced degree or certifications in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; supplier-network scaling or readiness-audit experience.
