About the job
Owns the mechanical design, integration, validation, and sustainment of production test fixtures and stations for aircraft, docks, delivery pods, and subassemblies.
What you'll do
- Design and deliver safe, repeatable, maintainable production test fixtures and calibration stations.
- Integrate instrumentation, sensors, actuators, harnesses, and safety interfaces; validate repeatability and fixture contributions to production test criteria.
- Support factory launches and escalations, improve yield and cycle time, and maintain test documentation and traceability.
What they ask for
- 2+ years building production test systems, automated test equipment, or end-of-line testers for electro-mechanical or mechatronic products; ownership of multiple shipped tester programs.
- BS in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on skills in instrumentation, signal measurement, power delivery, harnessing, connectorization, sensor/actuator interfaces, and PCBA debug.
- Experience with test automation, embedded/product interfaces, manufacturing-floor launches and escalations, and measurable production improvements.
Nice to have
- Python preferred; experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, or embedded test frameworks.
- Vendor builds, FAT/SAT, production qualification; 5–7 years of relevant experience preferred.
Pay
$125,000 - $145,000 USD starting cash range (base salary)
