Builds and governs secure, reliable platform interfaces that let AI-enabled applications and internal tools connect to Zipline’s production systems.
What you'll do
- Design and build reusable APIs, gateways, middleware, and integration patterns for production systems.
- Set and operate safeguards, standards, and governance for integrations with protected production services.
- Partner with AI and application teams to move prototypes into supported services and provide reference implementations and documentation.

- Deep experience designing developer-facing APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience building cloud services and event-driven systems, with technologies such as Go, Protobuf, Kafka, and API-based service architectures.
- Experience designing for reliability, scale, and safe handling of high-volume or unpredictable traffic; strong understanding of production authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and observability.

Pay
$185,000 - $240,000 USD base salary (starting cash range)
