What you'll do
- Qualify and develop suppliers; assess manufacturing capability, process maturity, quality systems, and capacity.
- Lead manufacturing readiness, validation, and design-for-manufacturing activities for motor products and changes.
- Improve supplier cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and reliability; support sourcing and product launches.
What they ask for
- Experience launching high-volume electric motors or electromechanical products.
- Strong understanding of BLDC motors, servo motors, rotor/stator manufacturing, magnets, winding, bearings, and automated assembly.
- Experience with global manufacturing partners and quality systems including AS9100, ISO9001, and IATF16949.
- Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and production validation; willingness to travel approximately 50% throughout Japan and Southeast Asia.
Nice to have
- Business proficiency in Japanese.

$178,900 - $268,300 (starting cash range; base salary status not specified)
