About the job
Designs and delivers electromechanical test equipment to validate, qualify, and support manufacturing of batteries, power electronics, and other aircraft hardware.
What you'll do
- Own test equipment delivery from requirements and design through automation, validation, deployment, and sustainment.
- Integrate mechanical and electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, safety systems, and software for repeatable testing.
- Commission, troubleshoot, document, and improve laboratory equipment in collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

- Experience designing electromechanical systems, automated or manufacturing equipment, robotics, or engineering test systems appropriate to career level.
- Mechanical design skills using NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
- Experience integrating electrical hardware, instrumentation, DAQ systems, safety circuits, and industrial controls.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience assembling, wiring, debugging, commissioning, and maintaining complex electromechanical systems.
Nice to have
- Experience developing automated systems using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, PLCs, NI TestStand, or equivalent tools.
- Experience supporting environmental, vibration, thermal, fatigue, abuse, electrical, or reliability testing.
Pay
$130,000 - $180,000 USD base salary
