Experience
3+ years developing ML models; industry sensor-data ML experience is also required, with no duration specified.

About the job

Develops machine-learning models and datasets to make simulated autonomous-vehicle sensor data more realistic and help close sim-to-real gaps.

What you'll do

  • Design, train, and validate models for simulated lidar, radar, and camera data; integrate 3D reconstruction with sensor simulation.
  • Build and curate training datasets from real and simulated sensor data, including GenAI-based augmentation.
  • Define sensor-realism metrics with simulation and perception teams, and mentor engineers and interns.

What they ask for

  • 3+ years developing ML models in Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Industry experience applying ML to sensor data (lidar, radar, and/or cameras).
  • Solid understanding of customizing, tuning, and validating ML training pipelines.

Nice to have

  • Experience with diffusion, flow matching, or VAEs.
  • Experience with 3DGS, NeRFs, differentiable rendering, or autonomy development in AVs or other robotics and computer vision.

Pay

USD 189,000–283,000 per year (base salary)

Tools
