Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Perception

What you'll do

• Train machine learning models, evaluate state-of-the-art approaches, and run ablations or modifications.
• Document experiments, visualize model inputs and outputs, and drive models toward deployment in Zoox robots.
• Collaborate with ML optimization, data labeling, metrics, and planner teams on project delivery.

What they ask for

• MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with PyTorch or related ML frameworks.
• Experience deploying learned models into production.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with a proven track record working on large-scale problems.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the AV or related space with joint detection and tracking models.
• Deep understanding of setting up end-to-end training and evaluation processes.

Pay

USD 225,000–305,000 (per-year-salary) base salary
