About the job

Develop controllable, human-like behavior models for simulated road users to support autonomous-driving training, validation, and stress testing.

What you'll do

  • Develop deep learning models using imitation and reinforcement learning to generate driving plans for simulated agents.
  • Build generative behavior models conditioned on scenario intent and develop methods to evaluate plan quality and system errors.
  • Collaborate across Perception, Planning, Simulation, and Validation to improve autonomous-driving performance.

What they ask for

  • Experience in Planning, Prediction, Reinforcement Learning, Imitation Learning, or generative modeling.
  • Experience training and deploying transformer-based model architectures.
  • Experience with production machine learning pipelines, including dataset creation, training frameworks, and metrics pipelines.
  • Fluency in Python ML frameworks and a basic understanding of C++.

Nice to have

  • Top tier publications (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR).
  • Experience with JAX.
