Senior Staff Software Engineer - Perception & Sensing

What you'll do

• Lead the Sensor Change Playbook workflow and define validation for next-generation, low-cost vehicle platforms.
• Partner with PCP V&V to define ATS and worst-case scenarios, especially for winter driving.
• Architect lower-cost stacks and drive hardware-change compliance while balancing cost, compute, performance, and safety.

• Deep expertise in the PCP Stack, multi-modality fusion, and architectures optimized for severely constrained compute budgets.
• Experience in V&V for safety-critical systems, including complex ODDs such as winter weather.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders on cost versus performance trade-offs.
• Ability or experience managing or curating datasets for sensor validation or model training.

Nice to have

• Experience with Autonomy Technical Specifications (ATS) and defining winter/adverse-weather bounding scenarios.
• Experience working with VLM’s.

USD 324,000–389,000 per-year-salary (base salary)
