About the job
Designs and supports manufacturing test and diagnostic systems for Zoox vehicle electrical components, ECUs, and vehicles.
What you'll do
- Develop, integrate, deploy, and support tester hardware, test software, and production automation for manufacturing, supplier EOL, and fleet service.
- Create scalable validation test scripts and cases, and troubleshoot electrical and functional issues across software, networking, hardware, and infrastructure.
- Document test requirements and troubleshooting procedures, and develop test solutions for future manufacturing lines and diagnostic architectures.
What they ask for
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 4+ years of experience with hardware and software test integration using high-level programming languages such as Python.
- Experience with network protocols and building user interfaces using React or similar.
- Strong background in Linux and bash scripting, experience with GitHub or similar tools, and fundamental understanding of mechanical systems, sensors, actuators, and ECU communication.
